Doctors..Life saviours..

Doctors are supposed to be life saviours. People believe so. What if doctors do other wise.
The on-going protests of Nilofar doctors in AP is a very pathetic and sad incident to happen.
Agreed. Every citizen has his own right to fight for their needs. They have the right to protest. But if a doctor or a poilce man does the same...is it justified.
From the time the doctors started protests and not performing their regular duties, till now, more than 10 children have died. Hospital authorities say they are providing enough resourcesfor looking after the patients. Then how come more than 10 chidren die ina span of 48 hours.
If these deaths are so normal and usual in this hospital as doctors are saying, then there is seriously some problem with the doctors, facilities and the way patients are treated at this hospital usually. A serious enquiry should be done on this.
And if these deaths are only due to the ongoing protests, then, it is indeed a very sad hour and shameless thing to happen. Doctors simply cannot afford this. This is not the way for them to choose for protests.
Even if the deaths have happened not "only" because of these protests, victims family and a lotpeople will definitely consider this as a failure of doctors. And in such situation, though they are not killing the people, they would be responsible for killing the beliefs of people on doctors.

I think what doctors are doing is right. They have every right to protest. Our politicians have become so insensitive and corrupt. They are the ones bringing our institutions down. Like AIMS director is fired because he stood against a minister's wishes. IIM director is fired by our HRD ministry. All politicians and bureucrats want lot of control and not willing to give up anything even if it is for good of public. And only way they are going to listen that we are not going to take this anymore is to protest. Doctors are taking this up not just for them but for all the professional youth of our country who feel deprived of dignity by the haggard politicians. The death of children is used by media(we know our stupid media) to sensationalize things. I think more than anyone else who feel for sick people and children will be doctors and they must be doing everything they can. The media never mentions on an average number of children that die on a normal day. And there are many hospitals in hyd not just nilofer and patient can move to other hospital. The doctors on strike belong to one hospital. Our media should stop trying to just sell thier papers and improve trp ratings. Especially Eenadu is big culprit. Pokiri movie's Tinnama, Padukunama dialogue gurthosthundhi

hmm..i sincerely hope and wish what you said is true. With all due respects to the doctors who are considered as "praana daatha"s on earth, i could not digest the fact that these many deaths are so usual.
May be the sympathy on childern and anguish of their parents is not allowing me to empathise with doctors.
They have protested in the past for some kind of issues which were more genuine than this idiotic case. But this way they have never won. Thats the reason i thought they should have opted any other way than these protests.
I totally agree and firmly believe and support that "Everybody has the right to fight against the oppression".
